Re: [bolger] Re: Bosch Jigsaw testimonial
I have a Makita, works OK, would buy another. I find I use the
stationary sander a lot more. I bought an air inline sander, which
requires a large compressor for flat finishing. I am pretty happy with
that, still experimenting with it.
On one of the Gulls we are building, I fiberglassed the side panels
before assembly and flow coated them while they were laying flat. I
hoisted the middles up after they started to set until they cured. We
then used the inline sander while the panel lay flat, got a very smooth
finish with little effort.

Remarkable!! I looked at tool king's site and see that the HD skill saw
sells for
$169.00. Skill also offers a 10" table saw on the same site for $169.00.

big.
The Mag77, Skil model HD77M is
powerful, big and not so heavy.

The 5 1/2" trim saw, Skil
model 5510 is very handy
because of its smaller size
and very light weight. It
has enough depth to cut
"two by" lumber too.

Both of these saws can be
fitted with ripping guides.

Which are nearly miraculous,

Like you, my old B&D has seen better days and I've been thinking of buying

power tools that I have ever owned. I'm thinking of looking at a Bosch
saw as well.

Hal,
The two hand power tools that I would not be without are the orbital
jig saw ( mine is a Bosch)and the battery drill.
