Re: Joining polyester to Epoxy
I would stick with epoxy. At best you would get a poor mechanical
bond with polyester to epoxy . There may be a material that would
transition the two but I dont know of one, Perhaps vinalester. Jake.

Greetings, all. Longest day of the year, so here's hoping we get
something done.... I have a question: I am working on a vintage
polyester and ply boat, and have done some glass and epoxy work. I
would like to add some polyester/fiberglass structures. What can I do
to get a good bond to the epoxy/glass that I am going over? I know
that the epoxy bonds well going over the poly, but how do I turn that
around, and "add the next layer" in polyester? Thanks for any help.

something done....
