Hi,
I had a Cynthia J. There are pictures in the files section. All of
the plans are shown in the Folding Schooner.
It's a different kind of boat than the Micro despite the similar
looks. Micro has the keel, and a lot of tightly enclosed buoyancy in
case of a knockdown. Cynthia J. would fill if knocked over, although
this never happened to me. I guess it depends on what you are used
to, but I like having a second person along for ballast, and to
handle the leeboards.
My boat was built for me by a boatshop, so I can't comment on the
difficulty.

My boat was built for me by a boatshop, so I can't comment on the
difficulty.

I have studied the Micro plans over and over again (difficult to
decied a design) I have seen a little catboat called Cynthia on
this group, it should be in the folding schooner book, could some of
you pls. inform me are the construction plans included in the book,
or is it only a description of the boat. The Micro is a great great
design, but I am a little affraid it will be too complicated, the
Cynthia looks a lot easier to me, maybe I am wrong. I also think of
Michalaks Musicbox3, but I think it will be just as complicated as
the Micro or? How many sheets of ply do I need for this design
