I asked Reuel Parker if any of his designs would make suitable boats
to go across the Atlantic. He offered the Pilot Schooner 28 as a
non-foolish choice to make the crossing. Sadly with an estimate of
$16,000US and 2000 hours (two years of ten hour a day weekends) to
build, it looks as if my plan may be fatally flawed.
