Re: [bolger] Sailing Brick Cat - Brickaran? Catabrick?
I built a Windsprint and last year completed its transformation into a
trimaran. I've been sailing frequently this summer and I'm very happy with the
performance of the boat. You can read an article and see pictures at Duckworks.

The Brick rocker is probably too much. Wonder if I can beat Craig O'D in flagging you to this?

I like pontoon boats and maybe the idea of a sailing cat. Thought I
might build dual hull boat based on the Brick (extended to 14' or so
on the same midsection). The idea is to build 2 very skinny "super"
Bricks (say, 20" to 22" or so wide) and connect them to create the
basic craft. Brick for a sailing cat, skinny Skimmer copies fora
planing boat. Overall dimensions would be 14' by about 7 1/2 ft
beam. Draft would be negligible. Sailing Brick cat would have
pivoting centerboard on a pipe connecting the hulls, completely
underneath the deck (floor!).
