Someone was asking about cheaper alternatives to epoxy:
1. Raka is a heck of a lot cheaper than locally bought West.
2. you can make a boat that was designed to use a chine log and glue it
with something else and then use a very small amount of epoxy and tape
to protect plywood end grain. For occasional use I don't think it's
really necessary to glass everything on the boat. Latex will hold up for
a few years if the boat is stored in a dry place. But make sure your
plywood isn't a kind that water destroys quickly. I'm going to suggest
it again: Brick
