A friend of mine has the unenviable honour of being the first man to sail
a Finn ( yes that's a 14 foot una-rigged dink ) from Acapulco to the
Marquesas ( that's approx 800 n.m. from Tahiti ) he is 6' 4" and it took him
3 months thru 2 hurricanes ( and untold capsizes ).
to me he gets No 1 ranking on the sailing idiots top ten .
