I just spoke with the clerk at Rideau Acres, who told me, that since
our event is after labour day, an exception can be made to their
usual 7 day minimum period for renting the permanent mobile homes on
site.

So, the closest place to crash, is right there. Depending on size,
number of bedrooms, etc they'll rent for between $75 and $112
Canadian, per night. (approx $50 to $75 US dollars).

Call them and make reservations, as the number of units is limited.
Their number is 613-546-2711. MAke sure you mention the date, ie,
after Labour Day and the Messabout.
