I wrote a letter to the builder of the "Super Bee" last fall. In
reply, he told me that it pounded quite a bit at speed and that he
had since sold it. "Super Bee" is not a separate Bolger design, but
this fellow's own modification. He didn't remember how he enlarged
the design. He had high praise for the smaller "Bee". He had it
powered with a 9.9hp rather than the 6hp specified by Bolger. I have
a couple photos someone else had sent me> I'll see if I can get them

You could dial up Ron Magan in this group.
He built a Bee, and had a complete building diary with pictures in
Duckworks magazine, though I think this may have lapsed now. Ron can
tell you all you need to know.

Pictures of these are pretty rare.
You can see the shape pretty well from sample files in GC's Hull Designer.

Have that? If not,
mailto:marka@...
I'll send you some screen shots.
