I just love the concept of the fast motorsailer, but I am not sure
that I will be able to construct it, thats the reason that I also
are thinking of Petesboat from Michalek, both single leeboarder with
simple rig/sail and able to reach higher speed, with a lot of space,
I don´t think they are so far from each other. Petesboats plywood
bill is arround 25 sheets, will the fast motorsailer be in the same
average? If anyone would like to see Mary (Devlin Surfscoter 25) I
would be pleased to post them, but I guess this is not the right
forum, I would love to post a Bolger boat later that I have
construct.

I now will construct one of following after I have finished a BB
Yachtdesign Greenland styled kayak. Michalak Petesboat, Bolger fast
motorsailer, Jessie Cooper, or maybe Champlain. I read about the
fast Motorsailer that a builder said that there was not more work
with that boat than with his Microtrawler, quite interresting to me.
My favorites is The fast Motorsailer and Jessie Cooper, but I guess
that those two are the most complex to construct. Does anybody knows
how many sheets of ply those designs requires. I am pretty sure that
I am able to built the Petesboat, a nice boat, but I think the other
two are more "heavy" seagoing?
