Hi Susan,

I'm in the SW corner of Nassau County on Long Island. I'm afraid
pics will have to wait until next summer. The only boat I've got
handy right now is a modified Michalak Campjon (pics of which can be
found in the Michalak group, or on Duckworks)...so maybe I could act
as a picture taking boat for you other two until mine is built ;-)...

Pete Culler refered to a centerboard pungy schooner as a she-
schooner, and, I suppose, a non-centerboard pungy as a he-schooner.
Is it not amazing how some images that are, shall we say, non-PC can
migrate to polite speech? I can think of others, and also of a couple
phrases originating in x-rated jokes that are now in the vernacular.

Anyway, that daggerboard seems very 'he' to me, but since it's
removeable, perhaps it's a she-feature after all.

Hi Bruce,

It's $35 from Payson. The order form is on his website,
instantboats.com, but the site doesn't accept credit card
orders...have to send payment through snail mail...although, to their
credit, it only took 6 days total time from when I mailed the check
from Long Island, to receiving the plans.

While it doesn't address it specifically, I would guess the license
is for one boat, only...if I was gonna build two of em, I wouldn't
kick about sending another $35, though.
