Got her wet.
I ended up cutting the sail, as
the mast has a 6" natural bend in
it, by flexing the mast another 6",
and then tracing the shape on
the sail cloth. The luff was
trimmed 2" and the foot 1".
In a light wind [all I had today]
the sail has a nice full shape.
On one of only a few days that you
can launch from the beach near my house,
through the nearly non-existant surf, I
went sailing today. It was great.
Now, I want the next boat.
Which is the longer version of Teal,
say 16 feet long? Is that Surf?
Or is that Windsprint?
