Another reason not to carry beer in the fillets, or anything else
carbonated:
When you go aground or hit something, BOOM!
At that point, surrounded by the odor of many gallons of beer, try to
explain that you weren't drinking it.

For that matter, if the motor runs rough, maybe that's enough to set the
stuff off.
