Superbrick fund now at 912.00 USD
There's a Superbrick Fund article up at
http://www.duckworksmagazine.com
illustrated with the beautiful computer generated art. Any and all
who wish to add a pledge are urged to email me off line at my hotmail
address ofbruce_hector@...
The fund now sits at $912.99, as of 15 August, 2003.. This to the
first builder of a recognizable Bolger Superbrick, built from Bolger
plans (as PB says, exercise your individuality above the waterline
only), that can sail (with or without motor assistance) around a 1
mile triangular course.
Pledgers are:
Bruce Hector $100
Bruce Hallman $100
Craig O'Donnel $10
Peter Lenihan $14 (he posted 20 Cdn. which we all know is almost
worthless, but we'll take it anyways)
David Ryan raises to $100 (challenges all in group to pledge at least
$25 and then someone can build it at a profit!)
Duckworks Magazine $100 (some people will do ANYTHING for decent
Superbrick building article)
J. W. Kelley $25 (extra e added, sorry)
Jeff at cosailor pledges $25
Jim Pope added $25
Rav Davis, Georgia pledged $20
Scott Backen Volcano, CA added $20
Peter Page doubled to 40 Australian which my currency converter says
is about $24 US
John Kohnen add a sawbuck, er, $20 (of the famous mother of all
maritime links fame)
David Romasco $50 , of Antispray fame, ("n" dropped, oops)
Steve Paskey, Tacoma Pk, MD, $50
Bill Turnbull, $25
Justin Meddock, Durham, NC $25
Ken Locarnini $25
MArk A. $10
Pep Cruells, Barcelona, Spain, the big spender of the group pledges
100 Euros, which my converter pegs at $114 UD greenbacks!

Total: $912.00
I can't wait to see it.
