Newbie's Pirate Ship Inquiry

"interests me....Grandpa's Pirate Ship...If anyone has a
pic or info on this design i would really like to hear from them or
see some pictures....also where i might be able to buy the plans"
I've seen and found absolutely nothing on this design on the Web or in any magazine, so I'm just wondering if one has actually been built, it may be that the design isn't even finished yet.At the moment Bolger is designing me a Boat based on the "Snow Leopard" design featured in "Boats with an Open Mind"(BWAOM).When I wrote to him asking about the plans for "Snow Leopard" I was told that what you see in the book is what there is of the design!Luckily for me he was very keen to develop this design, but it will take a while as in his latest letter to me he says he's behind in his work schedule, so I'll have to wait a good few more months, maybe even 6 months before I can get my eyes on the finished design!
If you're seriously interested in "Grand Pa's Pirate Ship" the best thing to do would be to write to or fax Bolger.
Personally I must agree that "Grand Pa's Pirate Ship" is a very nice semi Traditional design ,but I'd prefer her stretched out to about 25'-26'
with a traditional Gaff Sloop or Cutter Rig and the deeper Fin Keel arrangement he mentions in his commentary on her in "BWAOM" Her beam makes her too wide for comfortable and legal trailering anyway and unless you live in an area with lots of shallow water, she'd sail a lot better with a deeper keel instead of those bilge keels.
