Frank, I rather think you HAVE found what you wanted here on the Internet:
solid advice from folks who know what they're talking about. Bolger's book
can't be much improved on, and IMHO is more accessible and immediate than
bouncing around hyperlinks. It's a reference I find myself going back to
again and again to refresh my memory. Sometimes the hard copy is worth
having..

I just ordered a copy fromhttp://www.iboats.com/mall/for $29.15 incl
shipping.

I've never done business with them before, but they claim to have been
shipping boat stuff since 1998. We'll see.

Thanks Hugo & Bruce. I had planned on picking up the book. Still, it seems
strange that there's not a website that doesn't provide similar information.
I think this is the first time I haven't been able to find something I
wanted on the Internet.

The Bolger book 103 Small Boat Rigs
is simply astonishing in the breadth
of descriptions of different sail rigs!

original 100 Small Boat Rigs edition, so I'm not sure what the other
3 rigs he's added are but I can make a good guess that one would be
his "Chinese Gaff" rig.

The Bolger book 103 Small Boat Rigs
is simply astonishing in the breadth
of descriptions of different sail rigs!

It can be bought from PB&F directly,
and from www.instantboats.com.

The three new rigs are all variations of
the 'Chinese Gaff Rig' type, [a PB&F
invented sailing rig.] That book is
the best source to read their logic
behind the creation of that innovative
rig.

No, but a very good book to get your hands on is Bolger's 100 or 103 Small Boat Rigs "Straight Talk" very good info, I've got the original 100 Small Boat Rigs edition, so I'm not sure what the other 3 rigs he's added are but I can make a good guess that one would be his "Chinese Gaff" rig.
