Microtrawler "Otter" for sale in WI
Hello all, I hope this is OK to post here, didn't see anything to the
contrary but my apologies if not.
After lots of thought, I've concluded that Otter must find a new home
so I will have a place to store my new love, "Hermione", a 15' West
Wight Potter, before the seemingly interminable northern Wisconsin
winter arrives. There are a couple of pics on the "photos" link on
the Yahoo "microtrawler" group; if you are interested, please email
me atgreenman@...and I can send you more of better quality.
Otter is 15'4" (to allow for an athwartships double berth) and is
powered by a 70hp Evinrude which runs great and will plane her
nicely at 22mph or so cruising speed. Also included will be a 9.9hp
Chrysler hi-thrust motor which also runs excellent and is handy for
displacement mode and as a backup, but needs some seal work on the
lower unit.
Other features include trim tabs, VHF, compass, anchor, table,
mini-galley, metal-reinforced transom, 25-gal fuel tank, trailer,
and automotive-quality window glass. Otter was built in 1995 by an
experienced boatbuilder and is a joy to pilot and own. (But allow
extra time for conversation at the dock because she'll draw a lot of
attention!) Asking $6,750 as is, which is very good condition but
could use a little cosmetic TLC which I've just not had time to give
her this summer.
