Well Galtrop, a Messabout is a exposition of amateur built boats. A
boat show, a convention and a party. All in the same place and time.
The weather will be wonderful. After all, a bad day boating is far
better than a great day at work.
Maudite is not a new epoxy. But it is an excellent epoxy thinner. I
know from experiece that small amounts of any beer mixed into the
goop makes a stronger, better smelling boat. Especially after it's
been in the sun a few days.

A word to the wise Caltroppy, keep most (if not all) of your of your
non-boat text below your signature. That seems to be politically
correct. Insert phrase like "I was sitting in my Bolger boat the
other day wondering just what the heck they use sheep (mouton en
Francasi) for in Montreal...." to keep from getting bumped off the
group. A horrible, yet strangely effective way of curbing some of the
wore liberal and exuberant members (I wouldn't even think of
mentioning any names, and especially not Peter Lenihan's here) from
