directions to wine and cheese
From the Alexander Henry, which is on Ontario Street.
Leaving the AH parking lot, turn right on Ontario St.
Drive along across the harbour bridge, past Royal Military College
and up the hill between the rockcut.
At the top of the hill turn left (north) onto highway 15.
Drive aprox. 5 kms (could be 3, could be 4 or 6, I haven't measured
it) and the highway will cross the 401 freeway.
Continue over the choo choo train bridge, past the stores in
beautiful, if dimutive Codes Corners,
a few hundre yards or meters past the stores is Cunningham Rd. which
is coincidentally, also the entrance to Rideau Acres Campgrounds.
Tell the friendly people you are with the Messabout and pay them
whatever measley Canadian bucks they want. Follow the dirt road to
the beack/dock area.
The wine and cheese will last as long as I, the wine, the chees, and
the guests do....

Campground. Easy.
Try mapquest.ca and type in 1014 Cunningham Rd. after telling the
program you mean Canada. It'll make you a nice map in several scales.
