It was an incredible experience for my family and I. It was great to
geek out on boats without shame or embarrassment, make new friends and
finally meet old correspondents face-to-face. I also second Sue's
comment - my wife, Julie, feels comforted to know that there are
others in her position who have developed successful strategies for
dealing with our common affliction. AF3, Cream Cheese, was in her
element and will be back next year. Questions I tried to ask everyone:
1- what kind of paint?
2- how many hours did it take?
3- what is your next boat?
