Jack,
This CHAMPLAIN comes from Ontario and is the product of Han Van
Pelts' dedicated craftmanship. For 2 more photos of her,see the photo
section of Bolger2 in the CHAMPLAIN folder.
Nice and alluring as she may appear in various photographs, the
CHAMPLAIN has to be experienced in person to fully appreciate the
incredible enclosed living volume. You have to remind yourself
constantly that she is only 22 feet long!
While visiting on board during the Kingston Messabout,I almost
got dizzy just trying to imagine how much bigger WINDERMERE will be
on the inside based on the smaller CHAMPLIAN :-)

Sincerely,
Peter Lenihan
Hi All -

Thanks so much for the pics of the messabout. I'm very interested in the Champlain Power Sharpie and appreciate seeing those 2 pics. Anyone know where this one came from?

The 22' cream coloured cruiser with all the windows is a Bolger
CHAMPLAIM made by Han Van Pelt of Balderson, Ontario.

The 31-ish light blue hulled power sharpie is John Bartlett's own
design named "TURTLE" . She has a beam of 6 foot, 6 inches. John says
he was inspired by Bolger's power sharpies, especially Idaho and
Tennessee.

Both operate solely on 9.9 HP outboards and sip gas at around 12 mpg
and a cruising speed around 7 knots.

ps. Great pics, Who's that handsome fellow maneuvering the TIMS bow
section into place?
David, May I ask what the two larger cruisers are. And where might I find out about MABs so I can pencil them in?
