There's a prototype 15' "Long Mouse" that Gavin Atkin has in the
Mouseboats group files. It was designed with this exactly family
scenario in mind. Probably more stable that an 18' Piragua.
It's still only a .hul or .dxf file, but I bet Gavin or someone
could lay out the expansions quickly.

All best,
Garth
I seem to be a minor celebrity around the neighborhood, thanks to
the front porch being the only place where I can build _Shrike_
under cover. The day after we got back from Kingston, I found a
note stuck in my windshield wipers from another neighborhood person
who had seen and admired the dory, and was interested in building
a boat for his family.
He's looking for a paddling boat that will hold two adults and
two children. I was going to suggest two Mouseboats, but is there
a single-boat solution that's stable enough to take young kids
along? (Michalak's Piragua18, perhaps?)
