[bolger] Re: Sneakeasy-like boat gets out of hand
Thought of that, but it would be a bit much to swap the things while
keeping things watertight.
That's what bulkheads are for. Build two tails!

Thought of that, but it would be a bit much to swap the things while
keeping things watertight. What I'm thinking about now is having the
hull bottom between the tails curve up like a squarish launch hull,
moving the transom and motor forward a bit, and extending the deck
beyond and behind the motor. This will provide a small area to stand
on or sit on, fish from, fall off of or just generally goof around on.
If I put some steps on the back of the tails it would be a good
swimming place too. Now if I just had some good CAD software to work
with.....

Finally succeeded in scaling down the Sneakeasy to something I can
build/store in the garge and pull with a Nissan, and now I am
wrestling with what seems to be a rather nasty demon. I love the drake
tails idea, but I have always loved fantail launches. Something within
me wants to combine the two. I had thought about building one of each,
but the wife says one is ok, two - no way.
This boat-building is a quick way to the nuthouse I think.

This boat-building is a quick way to the nuthouse I think.
