RE: [bolger] Re: Overheard at St. Michaels

Stir crazy... ah, know the feeling; was teetering on the edge of building a
Michalak AF4 in a rented storage locker (no AC power, to boot). Came to my
senses and shifted gears. We'll see you at Mystic next year, hopefully
we'll have our full stable of Welsford's children there.

Oh, that's who it was. Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet.

Getting married and moving into my wife's house (no garage!) has sort
of complicated everything when it comes to boats. Before I start on
Walkabout, I've got to finish arrangements on fixing up my condo so I
can sell it; plus get a new washer/dryer installed at home and
rearrange the basement so I can build a wall and have a workshop.

Realistically, I'll be happy if I can get going on Walkabout in
January and have her in the water by May. (I'm hoping to take her to
the Mystic small craft weekend in June.) I'll start with the smaller
bits in the basement, and Maggy has tentatively agreed to let me put
it an 8x18 storage barn (aka "the boathouse") at the end of the
driveway.

Meanwhile I'm going stir crazy . . .

Now I must find you and flail you with a 7-foot Shaw and Tenney oar,
you reprobate!

Actually, Jay Hockenberry (who was helping) and I are both big
melonseed fans. Jay be building one.
