RE: [bolger] bed liner for canoe
just a thought here but the spray on undercoating that is used to rust proof
and help as a noise barrier on the underside or fenders of a car,is it the
same stuff as a bed liner with out the grit ? i've used some on the under
side of the fenders of my travel trailer for water proofing. it sticks well
to most anything and looks kinda like bed liner. i don't have a can around
now, is it polyurethane? robby

i checked thread in archieves about pickup bed liner use on boats,no
info about use on bottom of polyurethane canoe hull. i was wondering
if it could be use to repair cut in hull and add strength to bottom
as a whole? does it come only with the grit or is there something
like it without the grit? or will the grit interfer with drag in
water enough to worry about for casual crusing. please advise. i
assume it would work well on wood hull. thanks, robby

i checked thread in archieves about pickup bed liner use on boats,no
info about use on bottom of polyurethane canoe hull. i was wondering
if it could be use to repair cut in hull and add strength to bottom
as a whole? does it come only with the grit or is there something
like it without the grit? or will the grit interfer with drag in
water enough to worry about for casual crusing. please advise. i
