RE: [bolger] Seagull disaster!
Stack 'em, Bruce, stack 'em.... watch the overhead under those bridges and
carry plenty of duct tape!
Say, does this mean Twisted Seagull will be renamed Cracked Seagull?
David Romasco, cracking wise from the Isle of Kent, where the winter weather
is keeping me from test sailing the Sherpa prototype!

Well we had tons of snow this weekend past, and as we dug out my dear
Twisted Seagul we saw a 4 - 6 inch crack in the starboard hull side,
a few inches aft of the centre thwart. Well above the waterline.
I don't know if the snow plow touched it, is it split when she was
blown off her saw horses in a wind storm a ways back, or even if it
was just the weight of thge ice and snow.
Not too difficult to fix, but I'll have to get cracking if she's to
be ready for the trip to sunny Largo, FL after Christmas. I hope I
can cobble up a respectable patch without spoiling her bright finish.
I've purchased John Bell's "Sport Dory", which we'll pick up on the
way down.
Any ideas on how best to cartop two 15 foot row boats on an old Olds?
