MAIB, February 1st 2002 issue has the Bolger article covering upgrades to
the AS29 plans. In addition to the armor plated bottom there's a bow
modification to reduce pounding at anchor, an increase in headroom over the
head and galley, larger tender and improved backrests in the cockpit, IIRC.

Mike, I'm not aware of changes made to AS-29, which doesn't really mean
anything, but I know there were changes made to the AS-39 in the form of
sheathing the flat bottom in steel. Unfortunately there are no study plans
from Bolger, but if you write him with specific questions I'm sure you'll
get a reply.
