Rondo II and dinghies

What are the opinions on Bolger's best dinghy? I'm looking for a combination of good looks, performance and ease
of construction. My old Gypsy was much too long and heavy. The Cartopper looks good. What is the Rueben's
Nymph like?

Also, last year I tried tracking down the old Rondo II. I had gotten the post of it's being for sale too late."Rondo II
still for sale" March 2001. By the time I reached the yard where she had been languishing, (the yard had been
sold to new operaters) they told me that after gathering dust for a year, it had finely been trucked off to Kansas.
I did manage to speak to the previous owner who was kind enough to talk about sailing and maintaining her over
the years.

Has anyone heard about where this interesting vessel ended up and what it's current condition is?

A couple of years ago I was thinking of building one. Phil said that while he would sell me a set of plans for $100,
and he thought it was an exceptionally good design, that was a very long time ago and he could design something
dramatically better today, like a Whale-watcher. Still, I really like Rondo II's looks and it's unfussy sailing habits
sound great to me.
