Re: [bolger] source for metals in small quantities

I used to live in the town that they were made in, Bristol VA. I'll email a
friend whose daughter works there and see who gets the scrap now.

Speaking of,

I used to have a Cheap Pages link to something called THE FIBERGLASS SCRAP
PILE which vanished from the net a couple years ago.

Anyone have any elads on a source of inexpensive pultrusions, pipe, pole, etc ?

I have actually used onlinemetals several times. They are speedy and pretty
competitively priced for small quantities.

While searching for materials for the imaginary boat boiling around
in my brain (yes, it's that cold in the Northeast USA), I came
across this sitehttp://www.onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm?
pid=699&step=4&showunits=inches. They sell stainless and bronze in
small quantities suitable for use on our boats! If I were to build
the Chebacco 20, and not saying I won't, I would love a good chunk
of this stainless to do a proper weldment of the rudder and stock.

Happy imaginary building.
