Hope your pub night is a success! And yes,do post some
pictures and expound some on why steel over wood(I'm a closet
admirer of all things steel and terribly jealous of anyone who can
weld and work steel like it was wood!)

pictures and the beer is always cold and refreshing and that ALL the

Bolgeristas,
Noting the discussion of appropriate libations for
lining out, and suds for sparmaking, etc. I might
following up that the main part of a church is
referred to as the "nave" which is Latin for ship. If
you look at the beams of a church, think an upside
down ship (i.e. "keel" in heaven.) Which brings me to
invite all boatbuilders to "Pub Night" at St. Anne's
Episcopal Church in Stockton, California, February 20
and 21. This might be a bit of a drive for Peter. We
have numerous gallons of church made Red Ale, Brown
Ale, Scottish Ale and a very smooth Stout. All for
"tasting" of course, we wouldn't sell alcohol at a
church!
More on topic, I have just ordered a steel
tabernacle (which I designed) for my Meadowlark and
its soon to be single junk sail. When it arrives from
the local welder, I will post pictures and a better
explanation of why steel, and not wood.
Blessings to all boatbuilders,
Father Mark
Docked east of the I-5 bridge and needing to drop the
mast on a regular basis.
