Re: [bolger] Plastic film

It's in the fabric department but I'm not sure of the name. It's mentioned
as furniture protection. It cost me $1.99 per yard.

I keep my resume on geocities, now one of the yahoo!
sites (www.geocities.com). They give you a free site,
forget how much space. They display a couple of banner
ads at the top of the page, fairly discrete and no
popup windows.

I hand craft my pathetically naive html, but they
provide wizards to help you build the page. Keep it
simple and you should be able to put something
basic together in a few hours with any luck.

I am sure there are a bunch of other freebies around.

If I could find stiffer plastic film, it would even be easier but that's what's available to me.

Where can I read more about utilization of this plastic film? Sounds like an
answer to
my dreams. I am so sick of sanding and getting that dust all over everything
in my
basement. I can imagine the use of the plastic, but I would like to read
about it.
Thanks much.

There are some photos. I'll document a lot more when I do the engine install.

Someday I'll have a building site. As for now, I rely on taking
pictures the old fashion way and then scanning them at home and
uploading them to the group. As soon as I finish the current roll of
film, I'll upload some photos?

Any suggestions on getting a site started? Internet technology seems
to have gotten ahead of me. Do you have Sneakeasy photos on your Wyo
site?

In light of the recent
conversations about water
ballast, I just posted
scans of the SBJ#25,
Cartoon #1 "Proposed
Trailer Sailer" which
strikes me as an enlarged
Super Mouse.

http://hallman.org/sbj/25/

This is one of the earlier
uses of water ballast by PCB.
[to my awareness, at least]

July '82, what are the earlier
PCB uses of water ballast?

Pretty cool, and unusual,
sailboat too.
Do you have a building website?

I wished I had on the panels. I used it for the first time on the seam on the crown deck and then on the crown deck itself.

I'm not sure but it's probably 60 or 70 mils thick. I had a Coleman popup tent camper once and it reminds me of the plastic windows it had only more pliable.

It's located in the Fabric department at Wal-Mart and sold as furniture protection. It's on a stand of rollers that includes a couple different versions of the clear plastic as well as some lacy looking plastic sold as table covers. It sold for $1.99 per yard and was 54 inches wide.
