Photos of my day today on "HMS" Bounty are in the "Sailingonline"
groups files at:

A good group, worth joining even if you didn't want to see the Bounty
pics.

Great day! Glorious weather. Well earned sunburn.

Up at 8 am and arrived on deck 9:15, whipping and frapping, manning
the brow, greeting tour clients, making coffee, shilling to the
dockside tourists, teaching bowlines and such to the tourists, lunch,
serving and slushing the fore shrouds, repairing double split in
Bounty's name board with epoxy, recruiting a new volunteer, freeing up
some rust seized shackles, dinner, a couple of beers then a two hour
deck practice on the capstan, wearing yards, coiling lines on belaying
pins, sweating lines and a couple more seizings! A wonder 12 hour day
on HMS Bounty.

Not complaining about the 'burn, any Canadian boat builder worth his
bert would turn in his bleedin' bippy to get a sunburn in the tropics
in February, just ask Peter Lenihan if you don't believe me.
