Well, Bruce,
Look on the bright side:
1) You know everybody in the club and are all on a first-name basis;
2) Everybody is familiar with everybody's boat; and
3) You don't need reservations to book club events.....

Not a bolger baot in sight. But the founding meeting went off with
only two disasters.
1- The pub was out of Guiness!
2- No-one showed up besides Elaine and I.
Still, we rowed, had a beer, ate goodies and then I rowed Twisted
Seagull back to our little mobile home park on the water, towing the
Sport Dory.
I'll have to advertise the club through some more conventional means.
Anyone within a few thousand miles next Wednesday is welcome to
portage, cartop, or trailer any ol' rowboat over to join us.

Keepit up, Bruce, it'll catch on! And even if it doesn't, it's a great
excuse to visit the pub every Wednesday night.
