That is because the email is actually just text, it doesn't
really support links. Most mailreaders recognise a URL and
turn it into a hyperlink, but the magic happens at the
receiving end, not when you send it.

Thanks for your help Bruce.
What I did not realize was, that the links come alive after you press
SEND in this program, unlike my other programs when a link lights up
as you type it, :)

Hi Don,

It's easy. Just type it all in, including the http:// part. Make sure
no characters are touching it, like a period or comma at the end of a
sentence and voila, you have a link that works.
So while www.brucesboats.com is not a link
http://www.brucesboats.com
is.

I usually press enter before and at the end of the link to put it on a
line all by itself, so no text will become part of it by accident.

Copy and past should work as long as you're copying right out of the
address bar or from a full http.... liworking link. I use it all the time.

www.openboat.co.nz
For example, I just pasted this link which I copied in a different
program.

I am going to put notice of my Navigator website up here. Though I
can now make a website, and a hyperlink anywhere else, for the life
of me I cannot find out how to do it here in Internet Explorer. Copy
and paste from other programs does not work.
Thanks,
