To para-phrase, there's something about, 'Old sailors . . . and . . .
Bold sailors' , that seems appropriate, here.
For someone who mentions 'sporting clays', I would advise a bit more
care with the phrase ' . . *my* chattel . . .'.
Take it from a Trap & Skeet shooter with a wife who wanted a 12-pound
drum of 700x for her birthday, and one of *her* favorite phrases is,
'Mmmm, I love the smell of powder in the morning'.
