Well, I raced enough to notice that the obsessive guys had most of the
luck, somehow. I remember in the "Novice Regatta", out of 5 races I came
in last twice and first twice, so I must have been following your
advice. I think I also had an advantage in heavy air upwind as I weighed
more. Where we were racing, the wind shifted all the time, so you had to
catch a number of shifts right to win.
