maybe you could use windsheilds back windows out of pickup trucks or a combo
of side glass out of the same auto junkyards and back yards would be a start.

It should be noted that Bolger recommends tempered glass for the forward
facing windows on the pilothouse of the Micro Navigator, to allow the
use of windshield wipers. These would have to be custom fabricated by a
glass company and I imagine would be quite expensive, but perhaps you
could limit the wiper to one panel of glass. A wiper would rapidly
destroy the transparency of any plastic substitute, even Lexan, and
ordinary window glass or even automotive safety glass would be too weak
for the application,
