Re: Sneakeasy Stem

As I remember the plywood sides attach to the outside of the stem
and go all the way to the front-almost touching each other at the
front. Then you round off stem and plywood together to the shape you
want. Only the narrow front of the stem is visible when finished.

I brought the chine logs together at the stem, trimmed them off flush for the stem to be mounted. I guess you'd say the stem was attached in front of the chine logs. Like you, I was not sure so more or less winged it but it's very solid.
