Hi all, just a reminder that it's only 10 weeks to the Kingston
Messabout.
As always, it is on the weekend after Lobour Day with Saturday
September 11, 2004 being the principle day of messing about.
A wine and cheese "Meet & Greet" will be on Friday eve and a pot
luck dinner in the clubhouse Saturday eve.
Details are at the Kingston Messabout eGroup at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KingstonMessabout/
If you're coming, please add a post about it, a picture in the photo
section would be great too.

The info at
http://www.brucesboats.com
is mostly correct, but contains the data from 2003.
This years Kingston Messabout will be, as always, the weekend after
Labor Day. Location is the same, Rideau Acres Campground, Highway
15, Kingston, ON.
Duckworks photos from last year's Kingston Monster Messabout are at
http://www.duckworksmagazine.com/r/gatherings/kingston
There is no charge of any kind to us, the Messabout organisers, we
do it for the love of amateur boats and there nutty owner/builders.
Fri. night wine and cheese, free, just bring some wine and cheese,
Sat. night pot luck, free, just bring a dish. The Sunday beach
breakfast free, just bring any brekkie thing you'd like to
contribute.
Fees charged by the campground are minimal, and I'm quoting from
memory here, so forgive any small innacuravies. Day pass $4 to enter
the campground and view the boats. Camping overnight under $20,
mooring a larger boat, was actually free last year as no-one from
the campground ever collected. All fees are Canadian Dollarettes.
As soon as I start getting eMails about who's planning on attending
and what boat(s) they're bringing I'll update the site with the new
dope.
Be there, last years was a blast. Over 50 boats and 200 viewers.
People tell me they had a ball and all three entertainment venues
were a ton of fun.
Hoping to meet more friends and see dozens of new boats.
