micro construction continues....
I've been stalled out waiting for my navigator sheet from PCB&F.
I got it today so i'm ready to cut the bulkheads now.....i did'nt
want to waste the wood so i'd been waiting. I knew the sheet was
sparse on details and without dimensions but wow! There is not much
to it. Glad bruce has his photos on the web, there is much more
usefull info there than on the sheet with the exception of sheet's
sailplan and rigging info. Has anyone figured the rigging out yet,
including the batten flexibillity?
I think i want to make my chine logs 1x1 just to be a bit more
solid, to make the bottom attachment easier and so i can raidus the
chines quite a bit without eating up the log. I also am using some
knotty SPF and i'm worried about breaking them in the curve. I
belive i read lestat was done this way any helpful hints? I can't
find that post anywhere.
