Re: [bolger] plywood quality

I think in all depends on the retailer . Mom and Pop lumber yards seem to
sell better ply for more money,Not more expensive. At my local yard the ACX and
marine look the same.(ply thickness and voids) Look around and compare Orange
and non Orange.

I was speaking with someone last night who said that because of
changes in building codes in British Columbia, the quality of fir
plywood used in construction has to have waterproof/watertightness
just about the same as marine grade plywood.

As I prepare to build my rowboat, I am wondering about the
advisability of using marine plywood, or fir.

Any advice?

Thanks.
