In fact ANSI/HPVA Type I Specification attests to water resistance only. Small, wet
structures probably need good coatings anyway though.

At least stronger than TB2.

That's why not to glue to a hard epoxy surface with it. Since wet epoxy seems to stick to
just about anything, the reverse may not be true. So no problem taping over edges.
