sail maker and modifying the sail plan.

Well i plan on ordering up some sails(tanbark!)for my micro
navigator first of the month and am looking for suggestion on who to
do the work.

My dad is recomending a guy (can't remember the old guys name) in
mass that did his doughdish and stonehorse sails but my dad has more
money than me so i still need to look into that one.

I am also incapable of leaving well enough alone and have started
looking at doing my mizzen the same as the main (chinese gaff).
Bolger's fiji has the mizzen i'm talking about.

Fiji sketch is at microcruisingpics group under the files section,

The matching main and mizzen really appeals to me.

Can most experienced sailmakers sew one up just knowing the designed
sailplan and it's demensions and then knowing i want the mizzen to
match the main......i'm under the impression the mizzen has little
driving power and is more for balance than anything. i figure the
chinese gaff has more area higher than the sprit and it should be
easy enough to compensate.

What do you folks think?
