Hi Jason,
Lexan is the most used brand/common name for POLYCARBONATE. Plexiglass
is the common name for (and Acrylite is a common brand of) ACRYLIC.
Perspex is the common British name for one of the two, I forget which.
Any Brits care to enlighten us?

I've been snooping around for plastic to stick in the yet to be
build navigator house.
I'm guessing some materals are different and some are the same but
have trademarked names.
Help.........perspex, lexan, polycarbonate etc........bolger calls
for polycarbonate but are there some "name brands" that are
polycarbonate but called something else. I'm confused.
Also i'm only finding clear and smoked grey.....i'm looking for some
lightly tinted plastic to control the greenhouse effect......is that
smoked grey? What are you folks using on all those topazes,
birdwatchers, navigators and etc.
Thanks,
Jason
