[bolger] Epoxy Advice?
Geez. Now you guys tell me to specify the plastic jugs and not the
paint can. I got gallon cans with snap on lids that have a pour spout.
I have used graduated cups to measure and just doubled whatever went in
first. Seems to work well. Spent the evening getting the chines and
bottom of the Folding Schooner ready for cloth. We are thinking of
filling the screw holes on the bottom and putting the glass on at the
sametime. When we built the Gypsy which was completely tack and tape we
laid the glass tape down in the fresh putty. Seems like the same
principle would work with the countersink fills and save us a step. Am
I missing something?
We also cut out the bulkhead under the bridge deck and committed
ourselves to somekind of flotation. I think Gregg's solution better
and more aesthetic. However it looks a bit much for our skill and
experience level and my family has really gotten into developing a
creative solution to this problem. They are starting to buy liquids
just because of the container they come in.
