Right, building IS the fun part. I have long considered it a
personal challenge and my obligation to see just how long I can keep
my Pointy Skiff afloat! If the leak were in a strategic place you
could cut it out and build in a live well.

Thanks to all for their the input. I took the router with a flush
trim bit and removed the bottom in sections. After reviewing
everyones idea's, replacing seemed to be the best and most perminent
repair. This time I will do the job much better and fiberglass from
the get go. Besides building her is as much fun as rowing her.
