make a list of these references and write a letter
to encourage PCB to write a MAIB article expanding on
some of the designs. I am especially intrigued by the ones
that go something like...
" I once designed a boat roughly this shape, that when
driven in X fashion would exhibit Y (some shocking behavior)"
I think the failures that brought him to where he is now could be
interesting,
like the Sea Sled from the last MAIB. You have to respect a guy that uses
one of his main sources of exposure (MAIB) to publish drawings of an
abandoned project. It was neat to learn the story behind the
Boston Whaler's shape too.
