Mark- my MJ (SCOUT) also carries sails from Gambell & Hunter, lashed to
the boom. No obvious problems. The other MJ I'm familiar with is John
Gerty's Zephyr, also lashed. We need to sail together sometime, and
see if there's a difference! Let me know your opinion after a few
sails. Also, I'd be interested in just exactly how you adjust your clew
outhawl quickly and easily... Leo Smith
PS Have you ever tried citronella oil in your oil lamp?
