Re: epoxy and finishing
i have done this many times in my 30 years of working on boats.
what is important is the chemistry of the products not the brandname.
easypoxy is a THIN non epoxy paint formulated to put a high shine on a fiberglass hull. same with the interlux one part, this is not epoxy either.
If you are getting amine blush you are doing something wrong. most likely
epoxying late in the day as blush is caused by high humidity mostly.
the coating is degraded if you get it. sometimes old resin that has picked up mosture from the air will do it. the term epoxy in paints has the same meaning as turbo in electronics. hard to find true epoxy paint as it has a mek base. tough as nails but chalks easy. email me off list if you want specifics.

.alkild paints such as Pettit Easypoxy or Interlux one part epoxy.

Have you actually tried this? it sounds great but I've had trouble in
other areas when mixing different brand names of supposedly
compatible products. I've always waited until 9-10 summer days have
passed and the most of the amine has bled out before painting with
alkild paints such as Pettit Easypoxy or Interlux one part epoxy.
Just Curious.
