apparently she was a rather ugly madam soI dare say there were a few
blokes woke up and freaked outbefore trying to break out.
I couldnt resist using the door as more and more features came to
light.

I just added a new source of timber to my 'weird and wonderful '
list.
the list was -Damaged back door of a brothel
-2 piles of floorboards from pubs
- adouble futon bed
-a single futon
- a resteraunt umbrella (great mast)
- a roof beam from a demolished house. when the beam was planed it
was full of MARINE borer holes. we looked at the rest of the hose and
realized that many of the big timbers had been salvaged from an old
ship.
- The new addition is some beautiful lengths of Doug Fir, and
Mountain Ash,with turned handles on each end. They will be perfect
for oars or perhaps scarfed for a gunnel.
they have a row of copper nails , about 100 per piece holding on
the canvas and leather stretcher bed.

I was at the tip and noticed a large pile of WW2 stretchers that had
been dumped . they are in pristine condition. They still have the
govt stamp and year on them. When I unrolled one the wood inside had
not seen sunlight. No bloodstains either.
I dropped off one at the war museum. and the rest have gone into the
wood shed.
It amazes me the things that people throw away in this town . The
museum was amazed at what Id given them. I didnt tell them I had 7
more in the truck.
Cheers Paul
